There are several annual festivals in Dublin, including the two-week long St. Patrick's Day Festival. People come from areas all around the nation to witness the largest pot of Irish Stew and participate in the festivities. Also, the city hosts the Dublin Antique Fair Show and Sale.

According to 2000 Census, the City of Dublin had a population of 15,857 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population decrease of -2.8%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
